Meditation Classes every Wednesday evening from 8 - 9:30pm at Sunyata. All are welcome. No charge – donations permitted.

Mindfulness Stress Reduction with Bart Gruzalski Ph.D., starts again July 2nd - August 20th, on Thursdays from 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM. This will be the standard eight week MBSR course and includes a day of meditation on May 17th. Price is €175s, concessions available, with special concessions for the unemployed.

The weekend will introduce the meditation practices and teachings of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) which has been termed 'The art of conscious living'.  MBSR provides a very grounded approach to spiritual development as well as promoting physical and mental well being. The weekend is suited to beginners as well as those who wish to refresh their mindfulness practice.

Meditation and Mindful Qigong Movement

The ancient art of Qigong is a multifaceted system to build up vitality, to stimulate the internal healing power and to enhance the capacity to be relaxed and fully conscious in the body/mind. During this weekend we will apply slow, mindful movements, and standing and sitting practices drawn from the Qigong traditions of Daoyin and Wudang. Periods of silent meditation will help us to refine the experience of Qi, our life-force, and to ease more deeply into the present moment.
